Academy of Creative Arts is founded by Lexington couple, Dr. Java Joshi and Hetal Joshi. Einstein's Workshop is a woman-owned STEAM community center where kids create, explore, and enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) in hands-on, project-based camps and classes. We have a not-so-hidden agenda of encouraging girls and people of color to enjoy and excel at STEAM. We find that if kids are having fun, it's easy to teach them. Using Minecraft as a classroom, kids learn architecture, medieval history, math, programming, circuitry, and more. LEGO robotics begins with kids as young as five. Older kids gain the robotics skills to join a FIRST LEGO League team or build a Rube Goldberg machine out of Vex robotics. Artistic kids explore 3D Printing Design and other digital art techniques that use our laser cutter and other advanced tools. We also offer Math Club, Dungeons & Dragons, science, and programming camps and classes. We use whatever kids find interesting as a springboard to encourage them to learn the STEM skills they'll need as adults, both professionally and personally. They have so much fun they don't even realize they're learning!

Penguin Coding School’s unique curriculum emphasizes the joys of creation as the motivation for learning. Penguin offers a variety of in-person and online coding classes during the school year such as Scratch, Minecraft, Roblox, Python, and Lego Robotics. Penguin also has classes for 5-year-olds such as Scratch JR and Robotics. In the summertime, the school holds weekly summer programs where students get to make 3D prints, do fun and interactive science experiments, battle Lego robots, and learn how to code! They emphasize the importance of learning at a proper pace, as Free Trial classes are offered in order to determine which class would be the right fit for each individual student.
