Participated in the Lex250 Calendar Countdown on August 15th, India’s Independence Day. IAL core team members gathered to change the date to early morning and invited all the community members to join us in the evening. We had a large gathering despite thunder and pouring rain. The weather became perfect by the time community members gathered for the photographs.
Participated in International Fun Fest Event organized by Lexington Lyceum to celebrate diversity and culture with free games, music, dancing, and food. IAL invited a non-profit group managed by High School named Henna for Humanity to manage Henna Table for the event.
Participated in Bikeway Block Party Event organized by Bike Lexington and Munroe Center of Art to celebrate diversity and culture with free games, music, dancing, and food. Various activities were organized in 4-5 locations alongside the Bike Pathway. IAL invited a non-profit group managed by High School named Henna for Humanity to manage Henna Table for the event in front of Four Seasons.
